Patchouli Essential Oil

Patchouli is a bushy herb of the mint family though it does not smell like mint. Native to tropical regions of Asia, its erect stems reach two or three feet (about 0.75 metre) in height and bear small, pale pink-white flowers.

Patchouli Oil relieves itchy rashes and calms skin condition such as rosacea and acne.

Patchouli has long been used as a base note in perfume because its heavy, earthy aroma adds depth and longevity to more volatile elements. It is considered an aphrodisiac, is a commonly burned in incense and, yes, even used to mask the scent of marijuana.

Apply to your skin as a perfume or add to a diffuser.

Blends well with: Orange, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Lavender

Caution: While Patchouli Oil is safe for most skin, it should be diluted in a carrier oil for very sensitive skin.
