natural soap shampoo
SLS and preservative free, 100% Biodegradable
Washing hair with soap is natural, gentle, and time tested. It is unlikely to cause any kind of scalp irritation nor is it likely to contribute to hair loss. And it's 100% Biodegradable making it good for the environment as well!
Instructions: Wet hair then rub soap bar only on the scalp. Use less than you think you need. While this soap does lather, it does not foam the way shampoos made with SLS do. Rinse thoroughly. If your hair is short then you are done.
If your hair is long then it will probably feel heavy and "gummy". This is because true soap lifts the scaly hair follicles and then they catch on each other like velcro. There IS a answer! Rinse with a 50% solution of apple cider vinegar. This will lay the scales down, smoothing the hair and allowing for detangling. Most people find that over time they can reduce the concentration of apple cider vinegar.
Note: Soap shampoo is not recommended for colour treated hair. Permanent hair dye is attached to hair by lifting the hair follicles and depositing the dye. A "neutralizer" is then applied which lays the follicles back down trapping the dye. Soap also raises the hair follicles which enables it to wash out some of the dye thus fading the colour.
Ingredients: saponified oils (retaining glycerin) of olive, coconut, canola, palm, shea, and jojoba, essential oils of rosemary and tea tree, chamomile flowers
