Lavender Essential Oil

Ahhh Lavender, most beloved of Essential Oils. The name Lavender hails from the Latin word lavare, 'to wash'. Ancient Romans added it to their bath water. The Lavender plant grows to about one meter in height and produces long thin purple-blue flowers. The entire plant is covered with star shaped hairs containing oil glands.

Lavender Oil is used for stress relief, as an anti-depressant, and as a sleep aid.

Simply open the bottle and inhale or add to a diffuser for a longer gentler effect.

Blends well with: Orange, Lemon, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Patchouli, Tea Tree

Caution: While Lavender Oil is safe for most skin, it should be diluted in a carrier oil for very sensitive skin.
